Here's how it works
- You provide products or services to your customers and issue invoices as usual.
- Invoice details are forwarded to the invoice finance provider.
- As per your invoice financing agreement, a percentage of the invoice value is advanced to you, typically within 48 hours.
- Depending on the type of invoice finance, you either continue to handle payment chasing as usual (invoice discounting), or the finance provider manages this aspect of your client relationship (invoice finance), as predetermined in your facility agreement.
- Upon receiving payment from your debtor, the remaining portion of the invoice, minus the lender's service fee, is disbursed to you.
